Spring in Montana doesn’t really “spring” until June…but it is in the air. In the scent of rain, the sight of tulip and daffodil bulbs blooming, the buds in the trees and the sound of birds once again out the window. Most of us here in Montana get excited anyway, even knowing that we still might have days ahead with a dusting of spring snow, a frost during the night or the heater kicking on. It may be weeks and weeks until real garden or paddle board season, but hope is in the air for Spring and Summer and all those outdoor activities.
But, in the meantime, I thought I would do some updating, so I am sharing what I have been up to all winter: designing and sharing and building my surface pattern designs into home decor products, fabric designs, wallpaper and more. And I am so excited for you to check them out! If you don’t follow me already on Facebook or Instagram – do the thing and follow. If you want to know more about my products, read on…
But this post isn’t just about me, its about YOU!
What have YOU been up to all these cold, wintery, months? What would you like to see come alive in your inbox, your IG feed and your UPS delivery? Because I can help with that. Whether fine art, surface pattern design, poetry or graphic art, I thrive in the creative environment. My deepest joy comes from creating things that others find brighten their day, lift their spirits, and soothe their souls. Art does that. It is time to think about spring cleaning and decorating, gardening, freshening that bedding and those walls. Updating that water bottle, finding a new piece of art for our entry and rejuvenating those couch pillows. Come on – you know you want to!
What’s New at RAD?
My new products are out on Society 6 and Spoonflower and can be found here by clicking the links, in the Linktree bio on IG and directly on those pages on my website. Check them out! Or commission a personal surface pattern design for your own fabric or home decor. Or contact me about licensing some of these fabulous patterns.
I believe in the rejuvenating qualities of Spring. The way the sun shines on our faces and the rain greens our lawns. The way the new growth in our garden beds reminds us that all things renew. And although the change of seasons is still my favorite part of every season, Spring has a special place in my heart when it comes to HOPE, JOY and PEACE. And I am sure we can all agree the world could use a lot more of those three gifts this year.
I am confident that many of you feel the same way. So in writing this post, I hope my note hits home. That it finds you ready and willing to express yourself again through that lovely garden you are planning or planting, that satisfaction you feel when your house is clean and fresh from your Spring cleaning, and that walk you can take well into the evening now that the days are longer.
I hope you are ALL finding a path to your dreams just like me. And that those dreams are awesome!
Cheers to Spring,
Cindi
