Feathers bring me hope. They are unassumingly left behind in the moment of take-off or during the flight itself. How beautiful to imagine that gentle departure.
Or maybe the idea is more abstract - that the feather has served its purpose for the bird, but falls into the path of the person who needs a moment of whimsy. No matter to me. I love them the same. Their beauty and design hold such anticipation for me. A place of curiosity and inspiration that lights a place of story and enlightenment. I choose to pick it up, to ponder and to dream.
