A Life of Appreciation
Appreciation requires us to step back from our lives, pause and reflect. We often simply don’t take the time to appreciate those around us that make our lives bearable. We rush and push and stay in our own space. But true appreciation requires a shift from focusing on ourselves to connecting to those around us.
Life balance is necessary in our busy lives. Appreciating what that takes is magic. Discovering that magic lies in the appreciation of our selves, our lives, and those around us. My personal journey has always included family. My immediate family, but also my colleagues, yogi kula and my community.
Expectation and Appreciation:
I love this quote by Tony Robbins about change, expectation and appreciation:
“You want to change your life fast? Then trade your expectation for appreciation; you’ll have a whole new life.”
